Immediately recognizable with their upright triangular ears, a pointed, slightly upturned snout, and long bushy tail, foxes are found on every continent except Antarctica. The global distribution of foxes, together with their widespread reputation for cunning, has contributed to their prominence in popular culture and folklore in many societies around the world.

From the tips of its ears to the tip of its chin the sterling silver fox measures around 2.8cm (which is a little over an inch). It has eyes made from natural, cabochon cut, 4mm yellow citrine gemstones.
The silver fox has been hung from an elegant, yet sturdy 20 inch long solid silver chain.
This pendant is supplied in its own gift box.

To create it I have utilized some of the most up-to-date technology alongside some of the oldest skills still used in jewellery and silversmithing. The original was hand carved from wax before being digitally scanned and resized. It was cast in solid sterling silver which was then reworked, for several hours, using traditional Goldsmiths' tools, to produce a very fine detail.
To emphasize the details of the carving, the silver model was given an antique appearance by oxidising and then satin finishing the pendant. The whole piece was then coated with a layer of clear lacquer to help preserve the colouration.
