Made in the British Isles. This solid 9ct gold Vegvísir pendant features a brilliant cut diamond and is hung on an 18 inch 9ct gold chain.

This piece is finished and ready to be shipped.

The Vegvisir symbol is in fact a magical stave from the book called Huld Manuscript collected in Iceland by Geir Vigfusson in 1860. There's an inscription accompanying the stave that declares that "if this sign is carried, one will never lose one's way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known".

In today’s world, many of us occasionally feel a little bit lost, so the Vegvisir is still a very relevant amulet.

Vegvisir translates as ‘way shower’ or ‘trail marker’. Many people may also know them as ‘Viking compasses’, which is not entirely accurate - although they do come from Iceland, and Icelanders are descended from Vikings.

To create this piece I have utilized some of the most up-to-date technology alongside some of the oldest skills still used in jewellery and goldsmithing.

The pendant measures 1.2cm, which is a fraction under half an inch, in diameter.

The finished piece has been hung from a bright, 18 inch long, solid gold chain and is supplied in its own gift box.

I do my best to insure all the raw materials I use have been sourced responsibly and I always price my work honestly.

All pieces are handmade in a small workshop and shipped to collectors across the world using insured & recorded delivery.
