Named after the distinctive shape of their heads, hammerhead sharks are found in warm seas around the world, and have even been documented in the English Channel during the summer.

Unlike many sharks, hammerheads usually swim in schools during the day, becoming solitary hunters at night. Some of these schools can number in excess of 100 individuals and make for an incredibly exciting diving experience.
