Immediately recognizable with their upright triangular ears, a pointed, slightly upturned snout, and long bushy tail, foxes are found on every continent except Antarctica. The global distribution of foxes, together with their widespread reputation for cunning, has contributed to their prominence in popular culture and folklore in many societies around the world.

The 9ct yellow gold fox measures around 2cm (which is a little over three quarters of an inch). It has eyes made from natural, brilliant cut, approx 2.3mm wide, champagne coloured diamonds. The fox has been given a Hallmark from the Assay Office to prove that it is made of gold.
The gold fox has been hung from an elegant, 18 inch long solid gold chain. This pendant is supplied in its own gift box.

To create it I have utilized some of the most up-to-date technology alongside some of the oldest skills still used in jewellery and goldsmithing. The original was hand carved from wax before being digitally scanned and resized. It was cast in solid gold which was then reworked, for several hours, using traditional Goldsmiths' tools, to produce a very fine detail.
To emphasize the details of the carving, the pendant was given a part polished and part satin finish.
