A very substantial, sterling silver horse head pendant who’s flowing main creates an integral pendant loop and who’s eyes are made of sapphires. To create markings on the horse, and to accentuate details, the horse has been partly oxidised. The un-oxidised silver has been given a satin finish. 

After a detailed study of horse anatomy, the original master pattern was carved from a piece of wax over several days. A mould was taken from this wax carving and these solid sterling silver pendants were cast from it.

The horse’s head measures 4.5cm, or one and three quarter inches and weighs approx 25g, which is almost one ounce. The pendant has been stamped with a Hallmark from the Assay Office to prove it is made of silver.
This piece of jewellery is supplied with a waxed cotton cord.
