Often described as troublesome rather than dangerous, Imps are small supernatural beings, infamous for their lively mischievous behaviour.

In European mythology Imps often accompany a more important and usually more malevolent deity. They are not typically involved in critical human affairs, but they still delight in pranks and practical jokes.

In some religious traditions Imps are often depicted as lesser forms of demons or jinn and are notoriously prone to getting trapped in bottles or turned to stone by angels.

This Imp has been cast in solid sterling silver and stands at around 2cm high, depending on how you measure it. The silver has been oxidised to give it a black finish, then given a bright finish on the Imp’s horns. Without its solid silver chain, the Imp’s head weighs approximately 10g.

The front of the Imp (the side facing away from your skin) is quite spikey, so it probably shouldn’t be worn under very delicate garments.

All of my silver jewellery is made from solid Sterling Silver (silver with a purity of at least 92.5%). It does not contain any nickel, lead or other harmful materials.
