I have been very tempted to keep this ring for myself. It is one of those beautifully subtle, classic designs that might well be overlooked by the uncouth, and yet will attract the attention and admiration of people who truly understand fine jewellery.
This ring epitomises the old saying ‘Money shouts, wealth whispers.’ It contains one of the nicest, totally untreated, natural opaque colour, cushion-cut cabochon Mozambique sapphires I have ever seen.

The stone is set into a substantial gold ring that follows the lines of the 11mm x 11mm sapphire and features a thick gold shank. I have specifically chosen to use 9ct yellow gold, so that ring should be hard wearing enough to be worn by your children, if not your grandchildren or even great grandchildren.
The body of the ring has been cast from a hand carved wax model. The ring weighs 11.7g. It would fit a UK finger around size P, or around US finger size 8. It would make an ideal gentleman’s signet or lady's dress ring. This one of a kind ring features a British Hallmarked, to prove it is solid gold.
