Platinum coated, sterling silver barn owl ring with blue sapphire eyes.
This ring has been made to fit a finger size around a UK S or US 9 or EU 59. If you would like this ring in a different finger size, please let me know your size and I'm sure I could make one especially for you.

With its heart-shaped face and nocturnal existence this distinctive and much-loved bird has been woven into myths and legends throughout human history.
Allied to the goddesses of several cultures, the owl is a symbol of magic and darkness, prophecy and wisdom. The fact that the majority of owl species mate for life has seen this bird mentioned in many love sonnets and poems.

This silver owl ring has been given a part polished, part satin, platinum plated finish. The owl measures a little under 2cm or three quarter inches across its face. It weighs around 10g and has eyes made from 4mm cabochon sapphires. It has been stamped with Hallmarks from the British Assay Office to prove it's solid silver.
