Gold vermeil Tengri charm pendant and chain.

This charm measures 1.25cm in diameter, which is 0.5 inches, and is hung from an 18” chain. It has been made using genuine gold vermeil. The correct definition of ‘Gold Vermeil’ is solid Sterling Silver that has been coated with a minimum of 2.5 microns of gold.

Tengrism is an all-encompassing spiritual system that includes a reverence of nature, shamanism, animism, and respect for the ancestors.
The main symbol illustrated on this pendant is the Shangrak, an equilateral cross in a circle, depicting a shaman’s drum and the roof opening of a yurt, through the vast skies can be seen.
Over the shangrak is engraved "möngke ṭngri-yin küčündür", which translates to "Under the power of the eternal heaven".
