This gold horse head pendant is made from 18ct gold and has been set with diamonds for its eyes.

A small, yet substantial, gold horse head pendant who’s flowing main creates an integral pendant loop and who’s eyes are made of bright, brilliant cut diamonds.
The horse’s head measures a 2.2cm (which is around seven eighths of an inch). It has been given a Hallmark from the Assay Office to prove that it is made of gold.

The gold horse has been hung from a strong but elegant, 18 inch long solid Spiga chain. The intricate links of this chain allow the horse's head to run smoothly along it and rock from side to side, showing the sparkle of its diamond eyes.

To create this piece I have utilized some of the most up-to-date technology alongside some of the oldest skills still used in jewellery and goldsmithing. After a detailed study of horse anatomy, the original master pattern was carved from a piece of wax over several days before being digitally scanned and resized.
It was cast in solid 18ct gold which was then reworked, for hours, using traditional Goldsmiths' tools, to produce a very fine detail.
