Designed, assembled and hand finished in the United Kingdom. Gold plated, sterling silver lioness earrings, that would make the ideal gift for an animal lover or wildlife enthusiast.

With this piece I have tried my hardest to capture the stern dignity of this majestic, queen of the savanna, provider for her cubs and pride.
The lioness traditionally symbolises courage and nobility in many cultures. The ancient Egyptians portrayed several of their war deities as lionesses, which they revered as fierce hunters.

The gold plated, solid silver lioness heads measure 1.3cm wide from ear to ear. The earrings themselves are made from gold plated, solid sterling silver. The hoops are approximately 14mm in diameter, made from 1.5mm thick wire, with posts that have sturdy fittings attached.
