Old-cut diamond ring featuring a 0.30ct natural diamond reclaimed from vintage jewellery.

This ring features a old mine-cut natural diamond that would have been cut well over a centaury ago. 
The ring that holds it has been made from made from platinum-coated recycled silver. Its surface has been given a Florentine style finish that can only be achieved by hand, and it has been Hallmarked at the London Assay Office.

The diamond has been reclaimed from a piece of vintage jewellery, making it ecologically friendly and ideal for an environmentally responsible owner.

Screened as a natural (not lab-grown) diamond through multi-stage testing, the old-cut diamond in the ring weighs 0.30ct and measures 4mm in diameter and 2.3mm in depth.

The diamond is estimated to be tinted colour and SI1 clarity.
As would be expected of a stone of this age, the diamond exhibits a few small scrapes that tell the story of a diamond reclaimed from a well-loved piece of estate jewellery and do not detract from its character.
